Panchanada is proud to organize sponsored Puja and provide assistance to Pujari Ji at Katas Raj Temple, one of the most sacred sites for Hindus all over the world. The event was sponsored by our most sincere donors from North America who always come together in times of need and support us in helping our deserving Hindu community. They are our first responders, who always extend their support in providing relief to our affected community members.
The Puja and Havan ceremony were organized in Shiva Temple, which hosts the ancient Shiva Lingam. Puja ceremony included Shiva Puja, Shiva Abhishek, Aarti, Shiva Chalisa, Havana, Mahamrityunjaya mantra, Om Namah Shivaya chantings and Prasad. The Havan represented a ritualistic offering for spiritual connection, harmonizing energy, concentration and cultural preservation. It served as a means to connect to Lord Shiva and invoke blessings for the well-being and prosperity of all beings.
The entire Puja and Havan was performed by Pandit Niamat Chand who has been serving as a Pujari at the Temple. Panchanada is glad to provide financial assistance to Pandit Ji for his daughter’s marriage as due to rising inflation and skyrocketing prices, it was hard for him to bear the expense of the event. On this occasion, Pandit Ji was grateful to Panchanada and our donors for their invaluable contribution. While expressing his gratitude, Pandit Ji also prayed to Lord Shiva for Panchanada and its team members hoping that Panchanada would continue to serve the purpose of cultural and religious revival of Sanatana Dharma.
Mrs. Komal Chanda, Program Manager of Panchanada project, expressed her gratitude towards our donors and the team of volunteers who worked hard in organizing this Puja. She clearly specified that Panchanada would continue to host such events and its work for the uplift of Hindu community.
